This movie also knows for bringing the trend of horror movies back that was almost dying due to lots of sequel and lack of stories. This movie got many awards and award nominations. Initial this movie had the title “Scary Movie” later it was renamed to “Scream”.

The story starts with a scary phone call to a high school student Casey Becker from an unknown person asking her, “What’s your favorite scary movie?” She refused to answer that question but she was threatened. Unknown person told to Casey Becker that his boyfriend Steve Orth is held hostage and he will be released only when she will give right answers. One answer was wrong and her boyfriend was murdered by unknown. After this incidence, Casey denied to answer any more question and because of that, she got killed by a masked unknown person.

Very next day police have started an investigation into this matter. Another girl Sidney Prescott was preparing for her mother’s death anniversary who was murdered a year back. Sidney was waiting for her boyfriend at her home and suddenly she received a phone call from an unknown person but she did not respond to questions asked on the call, as soon as she cut the call she was attacked by someone but anyhow she manages to escape. Sidney’s boyfriend Billy Loomis arrived after all this incidence. Sidney thought that all these things were done by Billy and because of that Billy got arrested. This is how the whole story begins. There are many breaths freezing incidence in the movie. It’s categorized under too scary movies.
