Aamir Khan-starrer has grossed over Rs. 1500 crore worldwide to become the second Indian film to gross over Rs 1,500 crore. This wrestling drama has collected $12.64 million till 11 pm (China Standard Time) on Sunday and now ready to beat Dangal anytime soon.

The movie has also become the highest non-Hollywood foreign grosser in the Chinese box office.


Before releasing to China and Taiwan, Dangal’s worldwide gross was around Rs 744 crore. It earned Rs 387 crore net in India and if we exclude the dubbed version, it was Rs 375 crore.

If we compare this with earnings of Baahubali-2, Baahubali-2 earned Rs 973 crore net in India. Baahubali-2‘s worldwide collections stand at Rs 1,538 crore till Saturday.

It is also notable that Prabhas-starrer Baahubali-2 will also be released in China and other Asian countries soon. Baahubali’s producer Shobhu Yarlagadda confirmed that the movie will be released in China, Japan, Taiwan, Latin American countries with proper strategy.
